90 Degree Actuator EZ Valve Bracing

Proper blocking using the governing body/owner and/or their engineer’s approved materials directly under Valve & under 90 Degree Actuator.

- Chock with stone under the pipe to provide support for EZ Valve, Bonnet, 90 Degree Actuator & existing pipe.

- Use stone or clean fill around EZ Valve.

- Temporary Line Stops need special precautions taken around the Actuator Nut that sticks out the side of EZ Valve above the pipe. This Actuator operates a Temporary Knife Valve that allows all EZ Valve functions to work under pressure.

- EZ Valve is left in half-closed position by BWCSI Tappers.

- Verify EZ Valve was opened all the way upon backfill.
